The Roof

The highest sports field in Cologne: A special treat awaits the visitor on the roof of the Sports & Olympia Museum: The most elevated sports field in Cologne.

Two artificial pitches invite you to participate in sporting activities. On the roof’s north side, a tennis court awaits you. Depending on your sporting preference it can also be used for other games, such as volleyball, tagball etc.. A streetball basket completes the facilities on offer. On the south side is a football pitch. The 18 x 40 metres playing area is very popular, and time and again visitors gather here for a spontaneous kick-about with a view over the Rhine and the Cologne cathedral.
