Cologne two-wheeled vehicle history from 1890
The special exhibition entitled, "When the inhabitants of Cologne learned to cycle" staged in the spring of 2003 is devoted to the history of two-wheeled transport in Cologne. The cathedral city was not only the birthplace of the Otto motor, but, from of the end of the 19th century until well in the 1930’s, Cologne also had a world-wide reputation in the field of two-wheeled vehicle manufacture and sport on two wheels. |
